Dear Members,
Please see the clarification and recommendation regarding the new border restrictions from Paola Avila, Vice President of San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce:
The border is not closing. The new restrictions which limits travel for non-essential personnel goes into affect tonight at midnight. If hotel staff is deemed essential for operations then they will continue to be able to cross. We are recommending in this case employers provide their employees with a letter identifying them as essential staff.
Feel free to call or email if you have further questions. We will stay in touch. Stay healthy.
